Prevent Senior Scams
January 31 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
The Ohio Attorney General’s office wants to prevent costly scams perpetrated against older citizens. Scammers use a variety of tactics to make their offers seem legitimate. Their initial contact usually occurs by telephone, letters, door-to-door solicitations, fliers, e-mails and phony websites. They often try to convince consumers to send them money or give personal information, such as bank account numbers and Social Security numbers.
Join us for a very informative workshop presented by the A.G.’s office where you will learn about some of the latest and most common scams targeting older Ohioans.
Light refreshments will be served. Space is limited so please reserve your spot by Wednesday, January 29. Call The Hub at 614.889.5722 ext.810 or email us.
